During our last residency we’ve invented a new scene, one that is tying the whole show together very nicely, but we’re going to need better ropes to see whether it is actually possible. We’ve been curious about these modern Dyneema ropes for a while, finally we have an excuse to get some!
Unlike standard rope this one doesn’t tie very well, knots damage the structure, so we’ve had to learn how to splice them. It requires a lot of patience, but is so satisfying once it’s done. We’ll also be getting some custom made slings, making the setup during the show as smooth as possible.
